Key was created in dialogue with the international exhibition “Visibility / Invisibility: Gendered (Re)Orderings”, promoted by the University of Victoria (Canada). The keys, immersed in an ambiguous blue, waver between control and release, while a hand seeks to grasp or let go. The work reflects on the mechanisms of patriarchal invisibilization and calls for reclaiming space, the body, and the right to exist visibly.
